Nagasaki Wesleyan University has entered into an inter-university exchange agreement with the following three Indian educational institutions:

- Kaziranga University https://www.kazirangauniversity.in/
- Sister Nivedita University https://snuniv.ac.in/
- KIIT University | Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology https://kiit.ac.in/

This agreement will initiate a variety of exchange programs, including the joint launch of the Post Graduate Master in Management (PGMM) program between NWU and Indian universities.

Through the PGMM program, prospective students will be able to gain practical understanding and proficiency in the Japanese language, Japanese culture and Japanese business management. Students will have skills necessary to actively participate in the Japanese business society or with Japanese affiliates in India as a competent foreign businessperson after the completion of the master’s program at the partnership universities in India.

We would hereby like to introduce the following three universities with which NWU has just entered into a partnership agreement:

Kaziranga University https://www.kazirangauniversity.in/
As a private engineering university dedicated to entrepreneurship education, Kaziranga University was established in 2012 by a venerable family from Assam, India. The quiet atmosphere of its campus no doubt impresses those who visit. Local press took great interest in the contract signing ceremony between our institutes as the event was covered in detail on TV.

Sister Nivedita University https://snuniv.ac.in/
Established in 2017, Sister Nivedita University is located in the world’s largest metropolis Kolkata. It is a member of the “TECHNO INDIA GROUP” which is a large group universities composed of many campuses throughout India. Its undergraduate organization covers a wide range of fields including engineering, economics, science and humanities. Currently, this institute is very keen on not only student exchange programs but also on international exchange programs catering to faculty and staff and intends to accelerate the exchange projects with NWU. The contract signing ceremony was grandly held with the presence of Deputy Consul General Ken Nakamura.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) https://kiit.ac.in/
This university is located in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Orissa State, in the Bay of Bengal (East India). The total number of students exceeds 30,000 including affiliate groups comprised of a kindergarten, an elementary school and a high school. This institution was established in an effort by the government’s social welfare policy for the disadvantaged tribes in the State. For this reason, it is a boarding school providing free tuition for all the students. It also supports a broad range of vocational training programs.

The PGMM program is set to begin in October this year at the newly opened
Omura Satellite Campus, Nagasaki Wesleyan University
Nagasaki Wesleyan University is currently looking for internship companies to support PGMM program students. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in business expansion in India or hiring a competent international student.
