Although originally constructed during the Taisho period, the site remains a testament to the area&#8217;s historical significance. Another standout feature was the <strong>&#8220;Spectacles Bridge&#8221;<\/strong> (<em>Megane-bashi<\/em>), a striking double-arch stone bridge that spans a serene pond in Azalea Park. This bridge, which is twice the size of its famous namesake in Nagasaki city, is a designated cultural asset.
