On Friday, March 16, a group of international students from the Omura Campus joined a professor from the Department of International Studies at Nagasaki Wesleyan University for a casual campus stroll around the Isahaya Main Campus.<\/span><\/p>\n

The afternoon walk began with a stroll through the campus grounds, enjoying the early summer sights and the calm energy of a typical day. The stroll concluded with a visit to the university chapel, where students took a moment to reflect and take in the serene atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

The walk provided a relaxed setting for students to engage in light conversation, ask questions about campus life, and get a deeper sense of the daily rhythm of the main campus. Several students expressed how refreshing it was to explore outside their usual classroom environment, and how the experience helped them feel more connected to the broader university community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the stroll, students practiced their English naturally and spontaneously, reinforcing the department\u2019s belief in the value of experiential learning. The campus itself became a platform for cultural exchange and personal discovery, from admiring the architecture to chatting with fellow students along the way.<\/span><\/p>\n

Activities like this help bridge the distance between satellite and main campuses while fostering a welcoming environment for our international students.
