To mark the beginning of the new academic year, a cycling outing offered a refreshing opportunity to step beyond the classroom and engage in a different kind of learning experience. While simple in scale, the ride provided a meaningful way to connect, reflect, and appreciate the value of shared moments in education.<\/span><\/p>\n

A faculty member and an international student from the Department of International Studies set out on a road bike ride through the local area. The relaxed pace of the journey created space for natural conversation, allowing for cultural exchange and mutual understanding in a way that differs from formal academic settings.<\/span><\/p>\n

The experience highlighted an important aspect of education: that learning is not limited to structured environments. Informal interactions, such as those developed during this ride, contribute to building trust, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for communication across cultures.<\/span><\/p>\n
