We are pleased to announce that Ms. YM, a student in the Department of Multicultural Communication, has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Korea Summer Korean Language Short-Term Training Scholarship.

This prestigious scholarship is offered by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), a branch of the Korean government, as part of the “2025 Korea-Japan Undergraduate Student Exchange Program.” Only 20 undergraduate students from across Japan were selected for this fully funded opportunity.

As a scholarship recipient, Ms. YM will take part in a one-month training course in Korea during August 2025, focused on nurturing future experts in Korea-Japan cultural content. Her tuition, airfare, accommodations, and meals will be entirely covered by the Korean government.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Professor Oh, whose thoughtful recommendation and support helped make this opportunity possible. His guidance and advocacy were instrumental in the successful outcome of Ms. YM’s application.

We look forward to seeing Ms. YM’s further success in the future.

This program will be held annually and requires intermediate or advanced level of Korean language skills.

多文化コミュニケーション学科のYMさんが、韓国政府機関である国立国際教育院（NIIED）が主催する「2025年日韓共同高等教育留学生交流事業」の一環として、「2025年夏季韓国語短期研修奨学生」に選ばれました。

本プログラムでは、日本全国の大学から20名の学部生が選抜され、2025年8月に韓国で1か月間、「日韓文化コンテンツ専門家養成課程」を受講します。授業料、航空運賃、宿泊費、食費など、すべての費用が韓国政府による全額支給の奨学金で賄われます。

また、今回の合格にあたり、学生の推薦および申請支援をしてくださった呉尚玟先生に、心より感謝申し上げます。呉先生のご尽力が、今回の素晴らしい成果につながりました。

YMさんの今後のさらなるご活躍にも、ぜひご注目ください。

なお、本プログラムは毎年実施される予定で、中級以上の韓国語能力が求められます。
