Nepali students represent the largest group within our international community, and their presence greatly enriches our campus. Many young people from Nepal face limited opportunities at home, which has led many to seek education and employment abroad, often leaving families divided and villages sustained only by the elderly and the very young.

At present, Nepali youth are raising their voices for a brighter and fairer future. Their courage reflects both the challenges they have endured and the hope they continue to carry. For students studying in Japan, social media and international education remain vital links to family, community, and opportunity.

Our department is committed to supporting Nepali students through a safe and inclusive environment, counseling and wellbeing services, academic and financial assistance, and career guidance both in Japan and internationally. Above all, we want our Nepali students to know that they are not alone — we stand with them as they strive to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.

ネパールからの留学生は、本学の国際コミュニティの中で最も大きな割合を占めており、その存在はキャンパスを大いに豊かにしています。ネパールの若者たちは、国内での進路選択が限られているため、海外での教育や就労を選ぶことが多く、結果として家族が離れて暮らし、村には高齢者や幼い子どもたちだけが残されることも少なくありません。

現在、ネパールの若者たちは、より明るく公平な未来を求めて声を上げています。その姿は、直面してきた困難と、なお抱き続ける希望を映し出しています。日本で学ぶ学生にとって、ソーシャルメディアや国際教育は、家族や地域社会、そして新たな可能性につながる大切な架け橋となっています。

本学科は、ネパールの学生が安心して学べる包摂的な環境、心身の健康を支える相談体制、経済的・学業的支援、そして日本および国際的なキャリア形成の支援を提供することに力を注いでいます。何よりも、ネパールの学生の皆さんに伝えたいのは、皆さんは決して一人ではないということです。私たちは共に学び、成長し、より良い未来を築いていく道のりを共に歩んでいきます。
