The English Club officially kicked off the new academic year with its first meeting on Thursday, April 9, held at the International Café. The event brought together both returning members and new faces for an evening full of energy, laughter, and connection.

The meeting began with student introductions, giving everyone a chance to get to know one another and start building a welcoming community. To break the ice, students participated in a fun and challenging team activity—a collaborative paper tower-building game. Divided into two teams, participants competed to build the tallest tower using only paper. However, there was a twist: each student could use only one hand! This unique rule quickly encouraged teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving, as students learned to cooperate in new ways.

After the exciting competition, everyone relaxed and enjoyed refreshments together, continuing conversations in a friendly and casual atmosphere. The event was a wonderful start to the year, filled with fun moments and new memories.

The English Club offers a great opportunity for students to practice English, make friends, and engage in enjoyable activities throughout the year. New members are always welcome, so we encourage anyone interested to join us for future meetings!
