On Monday, August 24, the English Club enjoyed a fun and relaxing summer day at the beach with Japanese and international students.
The day was filled with barbecue, swimming, games, and many smiles. Students enjoyed delicious food together, played summer games, and spent time in the water. More importantly, they had many opportunities to talk, laugh, and get to know one another better. It was a wonderful chance to build friendship and camaraderie beyond the classroom.
Our international students joined us from the University of Baguio, College of Asian Scholars, and Phon Commercial and Technical College and other partner institutions. We were especially happy to spend this special summer day together as we prepare for the beginning of the next semester.
This month is also a special month for our sister institution, the University of Baguio, as it celebrates its 78th Anniversary. We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to everyone at UB on this important milestone!
We are grateful for the friendships and connections that continue to grow between our universities. Activities like this remind us that international exchange is not only about studying—it is also about sharing experiences, enjoying time together, learning from different cultures, and creating memories that we can carry into the future.
We warmly welcome students from Japan and from around the world to join us at Nagasaki Wesleyan University. Through study, recreation, friendship, and international exchange, we hope students can enjoy their university life while developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need for their futures.
Study together. Play together. Make memories together. Build our future together!
We look forward to many more exciting activities and friendships in the coming semester!
