Preparations are in full swing for Nepal Day, which will be held on Thursday, July 17 at Nagasaki Wesleyan University.

One of the highlights of the event is a traditional Nepalese dance performance, which our students have been enthusiastically practicing every week. The dance features both male and female participants moving together in joyful rhythm.

At first, many students struggled with the choreography, but with consistent effort and teamwork, their skills have steadily improved. Now, the practice sessions are filled with smiles, laughter, and a strong sense of community. It’s been a wonderful cultural and learning experience for all involved.

On the day of the event, there will also be an introduction to Nepalese culture and society, giving everyone a chance to explore Nepal’s unique traditions, customs, and way of life.

鎮西学院大学では、7月17日（木）に「ネパールデー」を開催いたします。現在、学生たちはその準備に取り組んでおり、特に毎週のネパール伝統舞踊の練習に力を入れています。

このダンスは男女が一緒に踊るもので、最初は振り付けに苦戦していた学生たちも、練習を重ねるうちにどんどん上達し、今では笑顔と笑い声があふれる楽しい時間になっています。文化交流の貴重な機会となっています。

当日は、ダンスの披露に加え、ネパールの文化や社会の紹介も行う予定です。ネパールの伝統や生活、価値観について知ることができる貴重な時間になるでしょう。
