In celebration of Tanabata (the Star Festival), a bamboo branch was displayed in the student lounge, inviting students, faculty, and staff to write their wishes on colorful strips of paper (tanzaku).

Many members of the university community participated, filling the bamboo with heartfelt hopes, dreams, and messages for the future. The display added a festive atmosphere to the student lounge and provided an opportunity to experience one of Japan’s cherished seasonal traditions.

Now that the Tanabata season has come to an end, the decorations are being carefully removed. We would like to thank everyone who participated and helped make this year’s Tanabata display a wonderful success.

We hope that everyone’s wishes will come true.

七夕にあわせて、学生ラウンジに笹を設置し、学生・教職員の皆さんに短冊へ願い事を書いて飾っていただきました。

色とりどりの短冊には、それぞれの夢や目標、大切な人への思いなど、たくさんの願いが込められ、学生ラウンジは季節感あふれる温かな雰囲気に包まれました。日本の伝統文化である七夕を楽しみながら、多くの方々にご参加いただくことができました。

七夕の期間が終わりましたので、現在は笹飾りの片付けを行っています。ご参加いただいた皆様、ご協力いただいた皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。
