Nagasaki Wesleyan University extends its deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the devastating floods in Nepal.

Nepalese students represent the largest community of international students at Nagasaki Wesleyan University. They are an important and cherished part of our university family, and when their home country suffers, we feel that suffering together with them.

As news of the flooding continues to emerge, we can only begin to understand the hardship and pain being experienced by communities across Nepal. Our thoughts are especially with our Nepalese students, as well as their families, friends, and loved ones who may be facing uncertainty and difficult circumstances at this time.

We sincerely pray for the safety and well-being of everyone affected, for those who have lost their homes or loved ones, and for the swift recovery of the communities impacted by the disaster.

To our Nepalese students: please know that you are not alone. The Nagasaki Wesleyan University community stands with you and your families during this difficult time. May there be safety, strength, comfort, and healing for Nepal and all those affected by this tragedy.

鎮西学院大学は、ネパールで発生している甚大な洪水被害により、被災されたすべての皆様に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

本学では、ネパール出身の留学生が国別で最も多く、ネパールの学生たちは本学コミュニティの大切な一員です。彼らの母国であるネパールで困難が起きている今、私たちも学生たちとともにその痛みと不安を分かち合っています。

洪水に関する報道が次々と伝えられる中、私たちが目にする情報からは、現地で多くの方々が経験されている苦しみのほんの一端しか知ることができません。現在、困難な状況に置かれている本学のネパール人留学生、そしてそのご家族、ご友人、大切な方々の安全と無事を、心より願っています。

また、被災されたすべての方々の安全と、一日も早い復旧・復興を心よりお祈り申し上げます。
